As many of you know, I ride a motorcycle. Some of my newer followers may not know that
I took a spill on it in the beginning of May and have not been back on it since.
Now I'm wondering if I should sell it.
As of now, it's out of inspection, and illegal to ride. I'm not sure I have the courage to get back on anyway.

Here's a look at my pretty. I need to take an afternoon and try it out again before I make a decision to sell it. But I'm thinking more and more of my girls as the counter argument to sell. (They don't know I had an accident, I'm just thinking I might be a little selfish to keep riding.) We'll see.
So do you indulge in any guilty pleasures? Any that could possibly get you killed? Inquiring mind (me) wants to know!

I always think of you on the bike but I understand why you're thinking of retiring it. Tough decision.
Yeah, it's the one thing I do for me. But I guess I might need to find a different hobby. Maybe I can come up with something that has a dangerous twist like speed crocheting a scarf for an alligator, with the alligator in the room. hmmmm.
I agree - tough decision. Ugh. I just keep thinking that if you love it, I wouldn't want you to give it up. Unless you can replace it with another semi-dangerous high-speed open road hobby. I know - learn how to fly!!! Right??
I enjoy riding with my husband on his motorcycle, but I don't do it much because I worry about what would happen if we both were in a wreck. I nominated you for the Sunshine Blog Award. If you'd like it, you can pick it up and my blog.
LOL, Liz. I'll have to keep that in mind!
Thanks, Sherry! That was so thoughtful of you.
Ashley Nixon just gave that one to me two weeks ago and I blogged about it and passed it on. Thanks anyway!
I'm pretty chicken about motorcycles, so you won't see me hopping on one anytime soon. However, let me axe you a question: if, God forbid, you had a car accident, would you give up driving and sell your car? I know it's not exactly the same, but it's not all that different. If there are steps you can take to better protect yourself, take them. But if it was just a freak accident, well, life is full of 'em, and we can't stop living just because of that, now, can we? :-)
Check Out Mina's Resurrection Blogfest II!
Thanks, Mina. Another great perspective to consider!
Thiis is a great post
