AtoZ Theme Reveal at Tongue In Cheek

I bit the bullet and decided to join the AtoZ blog hop this year, and I can't wait. For the past few years, I've diligently gone to visit the participants and enjoyed discovering so many other cool cats out in the bloggerverse.

This year, I've even gone so far as to join the Theme Reveal! So be sure to check out all the other cool kids joining in!

And now without further ado, I give you my AtoZ Theme "She Actually Posted That?-The best reruns this blog has to offer."

Why does Ava talk about sea monkeys so much? Why do the demon rhythms of the polka strike fear into Ava's heart? What exactly is a Polkapocalypse? When did Ava attempt to be a super villian? How long was her reign as the local county 'Possum Queen? Why did she write about Karaoke in the Pokey (prison)? Just how much does she love rummage? Will she entertain us with her musings on mullets or mutton chops when it's the day for the letter M?

The answers to these questions and many more will be revealed during the month of April. I really wanted to participate during this extremely hectic time of year, so the way I could do it was by tapping some of the six years of bizarre posts I have. They'll be all new to anyone who hasn't stopped by before, and for my followers now, there are plenty in here you ain't seen yet. So it's a win/win all around.

I'm looking forward to meeting new friends to come and visit me in the asylum, and going out to other blogs to check in on the goings ons. Can't wait until April first! Until then, citizens!

You've been around long enough Pat to know it should be a hoot and a half. At least that's what I'm striving for!

Super clever idea, and since I am new to your place, I am really looking forward to this way of getting caught up!

Ava Quinn said...

Thanks, Lexa! I did. It was my anniversary. 17 years that Man's put up with me now. We celebrated by taking the Urchins to the circus. It seemed fitting, based on our life at the moment. ;P

Ava Quinn said...

Oh, there will be Possum Queen posts for sure, Sue!

Ava Quinn said...

Thanks, Elise! :)

I'm glad you think so Andrea, though it'll be a little bit of baptism by fire for ya! Hope you have a strong constitution! lol!

What a fun idea! Life is too chaotic for me to join in this year but I'll be cheering from the sidelines :)

Possum queen and polka? Consider yourself followed; I feel like I stumbled upon a kindred spirit. Granted, this will be my first A to Z challenge so I am kinda winging it and hoping I don't suck. I'm over at http://sarahsbrandnewchapter.com if you are interested. Good luck!!

First of all, welcome to the A-Z and good job and taking on the Challenge. Secondly, yeah for visiting even when you weren't participating. Third, I think this is a great idea. You'll have new readers and they'll want to get to know you. Your bio is the favorite of the day. I'm a huge pink flamingo fan...

lol! Thanks, Sarah! So glad you stumbled upon me over here.

I'm sure you will definitely not suck. I peeked over at your blog. Battle royales with bags of potatoes are the antithesis of sucking! Definitely kindred spirits!

Thanks, Tina! Glad you enjoyed my bio! :)

I'm so glad you decided to join! Now I get a great injection of humor into my A to Z days :) Yes, I'm being entirely selfish about this ;)

Also, I do appreciate that you slipped into the third person for that teaser paragraph.... :D

Sounds like a fun theme!

Ava Quinn said...

Aww, Liz. You get me! lol. You're the only one who noticed my shift to third for comic effect.

Thanks, Sherry! :)

Ava Quinn said...

Thanks, Crystal. There will definitely be some cheesiness, though I'm not sure if it will be good or bad. We'll see!

Ava Quinn said...

Thanks, Carol. We will. :)

Looking at all those questions to be answered makes me think I should have looked back in your archive more often. I'll leave it to you to pull out the best of the best.

It will all be new to me -- I am looking forward to your old material as it seems quite entertaining! Looking forward to getting to know your blog.

I'm participating in AtoZ, as well. My topic is writing in general + my current work-in-progress in particular.

See you around!
